While you are correct that M$ have lost 7 billion, they STILL are not making a profit on the xbox 360. Because they are selling the consoles far too cheaply.

Thankfully, sony are regrouping following his ousting and will soon be back to fighting trim.
First of all, the Wii is selling incrtedibly well, and until that stops, ninty will continue to milk the system gameboy style.
Second, PS3 is here for a long long time, Sony want to make it profitable, and they want one in every home.
With M$ releasing natal next year, i expect it'll be a couple of years after that, so 2012. maybe even 2011 if natal flops like i expect it too.
